How the filters work
The DERF Series filters are designed to filter harmonic distortions and other frequencies current commonly called Whiter Noise or Dirty Electricity from the electrical lines, thereby reducing the potential for leakage into the human environment and creating additional frequency pollution in non-liner loads (televisions, computers, dimmer switches, variable frequency drivers, CFL style energy-efficient lighting, etc.).
By placing the Filters in the wall outlets they can filter the harmonic distortion (Dirty Electricity) and other white noise frequencies on the line to produce a cleaner, more stable electrical current for operation. The removal or filtering of Low Frequency, Kilohertz range emissions are suppose to help in many ways Electrically Sensitive people. The added benefit of reducing microsurges on the indoor wiring in the frequencies from 2 kHz to 400kHz as recommended by the Health Department of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides the most effective ranges.
